Gummi ships aren’t your average candy, they come with lasers and missiles and all sorts of explosive fun! There are hundreds of possibilities when it comes to the ship itself and what you can do with it, the creative possibilities are endless.
Unless you’re one who likes a near impossible challenge and wants to give yourself a major trial, getting an improved Gummi ship is nearly essential. In Kingdom Hearts 1, if you didn’t do anything with Gummi ships, when it was time to go to Hallow Bastion a second time it would take nearly 10 minutes. I would know, I did it, a few too many times because it was such a frail ship.
Here’s all of the Gummi Ships in Kingdom Hearts 3 and where you can get them!
Gummi Ships from Gummi Shop
These Gummi ships can be purchased from Donalds nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Lewey, from the garage at various points in the game.
- Highwind level 1
- Highwind Level 2
- Highwind Level 3
- Highwind Level 4
- Highwind MAX
- Invincible Level 1
- Invincible Level 2
- Invincible Level 3
- Invincible Level 4
- Invincible MAX
- Falcon Level 1
- Falcon Level 2
- Falcon Level 3
- Falcon Level 4
- Falcon MAX
Big thing to note, even when you get these blueprints, you NEED to have the Gummi blocks. Unlike the other ships in this list, you cannot fly these ships if you do not have the blocks. Most every treasure sphere or blue crystals should contain what’s needed though.
Gummi Ships from Constellations
These you can typically find on the outside edge of the Outer Worlds. When I find a new section, I’ll do a lap around the outside from world to world and I’ve found each of them without much issue at all. Here’s what sections you can find the Constellations.
- Bomb – Starlight Way
- Cactuar – Starlight Way
- Moogle – Starlight Way
- Imp – Misty Stream
- Tonberry – Misty Stream
- Endymion – Misty Stream
- Bismarck – Eclipse
- Orthros – Eclipse
- Omega – Eclipse
In each galaxy, there is one constellation blueprint that is a bit better than the others.
The Moogle in Starlight Way has more health than what you’ll know what to do with in the first area. It’s a tank. The other stats are pretty normal with the ships that you’ll find and work with at this point. If you’re going through the battles in Starlight Way and are having some difficulty, Moogle is the way to go.
At first look, the Endymion doesn’t look too different the the rest. Taking a deeper look into the abilities and you’ll see this little gunner has a bunch of things preinstalled, which most of these blueprints you can’t do too much adjusting to mid game. If Moogle just isn’t cutting it anymore, I’d give this lil guy a try next.
Omega. Is. A. Beast. This Gummi ship is considered one of the strongest premades in the game. It’s health and power are astronomical and it’s able to give you a major advantage. One big thing to note though: It’s preset abilities do make it so you do not get the teeny ships, which may lower you’re overall effectiveness when it comes to actually the shooting. Lasers you’re still good to go.
Gummi Ships from Crystals
Each galaxy has their own crystals – blue and pink/green. The blue crystals will give you random Gummi blocks and weapons. They’re handy if you’re trying to make your own ship. The pink/green ones will hold Blueprint pieces. The later of the two crystals are harder to smash open, but are more worth collecting all of them. Here are the three ships you can get by getting the crystals smashed open.
- Vega – Starlight Way
- Siris – Misty Stream
- Shooting Star – Eclipse
Gummi ships from battles
The final way of getting Gummi ships in KH3 is by fighting! When you are in the Gummi-verse you’ll see heartless flying around. In Starlight Way, they will mostly be 1-2 stars for difficulty; Misty Stream is 2-4 is the normal stars; and The Eclipse is 4-5 stars. There are a couple of boss battles in each area, they will also drop items. Not every battle will drop a Gummi Ship, and they will only drop them if you get an A rating. Easiest way to get an A rating? Don’t get hit even once during the battle. If you get an Untouchable Bonus, it will almost always push you into an A rating. It’s not always easy to do, in some battles it’s downright impossible, but it is worth it if you are having trouble getting that bonus.
