Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories Enemy Card Collection

Time to hunt some Heartless! Art by Rytellia

Cards are the way to power in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories and RE:Chain of Memories. How you build your deck, what order you have it all in, and what power ups you can find along the way are the difference between a smooth run and a struggle.

The other side of the card collection in this game is a more traditional grind in terms of most Kingdom Hearts games: Enemy Cards. These are obtained by defeating Heartless. It is quite rare to find them though! There are a couple major things to note to help in your hunts:

  • Only the Heartless killed last will release it’s card.
  • The chances of the card dropping is super low, 2-4% on average.
  • The hardest rooms; Teeming Darkness, Almighty Darkness, and Looming Darkness; are the ones that have the highest chance of dropping cards. It ups the chances by 2.5!

There are basic enemy cards which require this grind, there are boss enemy cards which you get upon final completion of the boss, and there are Nobody enemy cards which are obtained from both boss battles and from special means.

Here’s where to find each of them!

Re:COM Organization Cards

In the Japanese versions of the game or any of the RE: versions of the game, there are hidden Organization members you can find after you beat the game and have a save file showing as such. I’ve seen a lot of debate on exactly what type of chest based room to find them, i.e Room of Rewards, Calm Bounty, Guarded Bounty, etc. The quick answer.. is it depends!

  • Xemnas – Room to Rewards in Wonderland after beating both Sora’s and Riku’s stories
  • Xigbar – Room of Rewards in Hollow Bastion after beating both Sora’s and Riku’s stories
  • Xaldin – Room of Rewards in Monstro after beating both Sora’s and Riku’s stories
  • Lexeaus – Bounty Room in Castle Oblivion after beating both Sora’s and RIku’s stories
  • Saïx – Room of Rewards in Traverse Town after beating both Sora’s and Riku’s stories
  • Demyx – Room of Rewards in Atlantica after beating both Sora’s and Riku’s stories
  • Luxord – Room of Rewards in Agrabah after beating both Sora’s and RIku’s stories
  • Roxas – Room of Rewards in Twilight Town after beating both Sora’s and RIku’s stories
  • Ansem – Bounty Room in Twilight Town after beating both Sora’s and Riku’s stories
